Hawkeye fans know that Coach Kirk Ferentz like to talk about “positives”. Well, as a fan inside Soldier Field, I can speak just as effectively as Ferentz. “The two main positives” were:
1. The Hawks showed resiliency and patience in the 18-17 come-from-behind win against NIU.
2. With Isaac’s tropical remnants bearing down on Chicagoland, the main moisture problem of the day was sweat as opposed to rain. Most fans had their ponchos securely packed away the entire game.
Here are a few unedited shots I captured from our lower level seats in the north end zone.
